In a curious turn of events, the Ongole police sought review from a private organization about the cause of death of a 35-year-old man in Darsi town in the district. The cops are apparently doubtful about the opinion given by the forensic experts working in the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and the FSL, giving ample scope for pointing fingers at the integrity of the investigators

The victim Kurapati Amaralinga Prasanna Bhramaramba Sametha Rajamalleswara Bhavani Eswara Raju, a reporter-cum-businessman in Darsi town of Prakasam district was found dead under suspicious circumstances on August 29, 2011 inside Eduru Brothers Emu Birds Farm.
The victim’s family alleges that police did not show interest to come to the spot soon after the incident. Instead, they came to the spot only after the victim’s relatives and friends staged a protest on the road.

The family demanded that the investigation of the case should be entrusted to a police officer of the rank of superintendent o
